AS COMPONENT 9607/22

There are 2 components of media studies. (AS level)

1. Component 1: Foundation Portfolio (Candidates are given a task to produce a magazine or a film opening. They then upload evidences of all the resources used, research and meetups or moderation. This component is of 50 marks where 20 for products, 20 marks CCR and 10 marks for research and play.)
2. Component 2: Media texts and Contexts (This a written paper containing 2 sections. Section A and Section B. In section A, students analyze a moving image extract whereas in Section B, questions regarding industry are given. Also, this paper is of 50 marks.)
